Work-at-Home: Not As Easy As It Sounds
Working from home can seem like a panacea to beleaguered moms who are tired of leaving their children day after day for the same old rat race. While working from home does have its advantages, the life of a work-at-home mom is not as easy as it may seem. As I write this, there are day-old cheerios at my feet and baby toys scattered thoughout the living room…er, my office, I mean. I’m stealing time in the early morning hours to get a jump start on my work-at-home day, because in an hour or two, I will have little ones who require my time and attention.
Of necessity, I’ve developed strategies to make my work-at-home day run smoothly. In my next blog post, I’ll show you how to structure your work-at-home day for maximum efficiency. Even with babies and toddlers, it can be done.
- Tooting Myself (It’s Not As Icky As It Sounds)
- Breastfeeding - Not as easy as you would think
- It’s Not As Bad As It Seems
- Meltdowns in public as it pertains to any child, autistic or not. Please keep your comments to yourself.
- BookPub News & Rumors v.2: Borders not as bad as expected, Random House sales down (thanks Borders)
